The partnership

What does it cost the venue?

Do you take a cut of sales?

Yes. Guest purchases are split: venue revenue share; OnHand covers machine, inventory, and labor.

Who installs it?

The OnHand team. Professional install at no cost. You do not mount or service it.

Products

What can the machines sell?

Three machine lines: nicotine and lifestyle (ZYN, Wip, Geek Bar, and Lost Mary — 21+ and age verified), Pokémon card packs and collectibles, and food and beverage (cold drinks, snacks, and fresh options). Mix is set with the venue. Not an online store.

Do you supply the products?

Yes. OnHand buys, stocks, and restocks. Venue does not purchase inventory.

Can the machines sell nicotine pouches?

Yes, where allowed. ZYN in current mix. 21+ age-gated. We stock it.

Can they sell disposable vapes?

Yes, where allowed. Examples: Geek Bar Pulse X and Lost Mary MO20000 Pro. 21+ age-gated. We stock it.

Payments

How do guests pay?

Cashless: tap-to-pay, chip, Apple Pay, Google Pay. Staff does not handle cash from the machine.

Can you limit how much someone can buy?

Yes. We can set purchase limits if you want them.

Age verification & compliance

How does age verification work?

Nicotine/vapes: machine checks 21+ before vend. Under 21 cannot complete that purchase. Open assortment does not need age confirmation. We do not publish buyer information.

Do you provide licensing or legal advice?

No. We do not give legal advice. Age-restricted products follow Arizona/local rules and venue policies. Without nicotine/vapes, the rest of the catalog still runs.

What does Arizona law say about tobacco in vending machines?

Arizona Revised Statutes section 36-798.02 currently provides:

Arizona tobacco vending statute

36-798.02. Vending machine sales of tobacco and tobacco products; signage; violation; classification

A. A person shall not sell tobacco products through a vending machine unless the vending machine is located in either:

1. A bar.

2. An employee lounge area that is not open to the public and the business in which the lounge area is located does not employ minors.

B. A sign measuring at least eighty square inches shall be obviously affixed to the front of each vending machine. The sign shall state in block letters that it is illegal for a person who is under twenty-one years of age to purchase cigarettes or tobacco products and, on conviction, a fine of up to $300 may be imposed.

C. This article does not invalidate an ordinance of or prohibit the adoption of an ordinance by a county, city or town to further restrict the location of vending machines or specify different wording for the vending machine signs as required by subsection B of this section.

D. A person who violates this section is guilty of a petty offense.

Placement

Where do you place machines?

Phoenix-area venues that fit the line: nightlife, apartments, hotels, gyms, and offices; family entertainment, arcades, malls, card shops, and bowling for cards; warehouses for food and beverage. We look at traffic, hours, and guest mix before we install.
